This work of mine from 2017 to today is a picture of this time, the end of time in all religions, the end of this Kali Yuga, and we all hope and expect the dawn of the Golden Age and the arrival of light in this darkness.

Time of horror, inhumanity, mindless killing of Earth, animals, people. As ordinary news, we hear about horrors that were unimaginable to us, yet life seems to go on undisturbed, as if we are blind to everything that is happening. Wrapped up in our jobs, small pleasures, we pass by the horrors as if they are in another dimension and do not exist at the same time on the same Earth where we live.

In my works, I explore the past, symbols, texts in other languages, amulets, handprints on the walls of caves and the imprints of destinies at this time, the dance that connects the spirit of groups, creates energy, I search for where it all began, where are all those symbols that exist today but we never understood them.

In all of this, a cross in a circle with a heart in the middle of the cross, a dream that has since become an inevitable symbol in all of my work.

Of course, when I post all the works from this series of works, I will go back to earlier years and post the works that preceded them.

A painting inspired by the unusual gray mime artist in front of the Uffizi Gallery who transformed beautiful Florence into a strange magic in my dream. From a strange, almost real dream in which I saw an unusual stone cross in a circle with a heart in the middle, the idea was born that this symbol would be on every one of my works from then on, and like here, it is on my other works as well. 2022.

Prehistoric Heritage – Chariot from Dupljaja,

2023.

Inspired by a prehistoric small sculpture depicting a chariot pulled by birds, the charioteer very unusually having the form of a bird. As in the heritage of India and other ancient cultures, the decoration of this prehistoric small sculpture from Serbia features the ancient symbol . This connection of distant cultures through art is a frequent inspiration in my work.

There is a proverb among my people that says you should open four eyes. Maybe that is the only way to see the truth and avoid danger. How many eyes do we need, the eyes of an optimist, the eyes of a pessimist and the inner one of that conscious true self. Is that enough or is everything in God’s hands?

The natural stone bridge in Vratna in Serbia was the inspiration for this work. Of course, in my works there is a connection with mysticism, old stories that I heard from my grandmother, and the stone bridge has a completely different dimension to my work. For one of the stories that I listened to a long time ago in childhood and that my grandmother heard from her grandmother, this place has always been the place where it took place. I plan to post this unusual story on the website because today I understand it completely differently.
